Rowing knows no age limits and can be done in a team or alone. With a little patience and a good sense of humour, anyone can learn the rowing technique.

Apart from fun and exercise in the fresh air, rowing has many health benefits: It is an endurance sport that is easy on the joints, works-out and strengthens all muscles, promotes mobility, trains physical fitness and reduces stress.

Sneakers, close-fitting clothes suitable for sports activities; if necessary/weather dependent, headgear, suncream etc (sun, wind, cold).

Additional course requirements
Comfortable on water and able to swim (approx. 300 m).  Life jackets are available.

The rowing school Stadtrudern / Urban Rowing accepts no liability for accidents or damage to boats during lessons. Not every liability insurance automatically includes rowing boats. It is worth checking this before the start of the course.
